Verizon Networks Business Unit tapped Integnology to conduct a full-scale assessment of its enterprise architecture, engineering infrastructure, and software delivery organizations. After completing the assessment we collaborated with Verizon’s architecture, infrastructure engineering, and software delivery leaders to develop a new organizational vision.
New vision spurs modernization
In collaboration with Verizon’s senior leaders we assessed the current state of development infrastructure, tools, teams, processes, and testing and deployment methods. Based on the study results we proposed a comprehensive modernization roadmap, including adoption of the latest techniques and tools. The roadmap called for auto-scaling and standardizing and automating engineering infrastructure, processes, and Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) management.

We executed the transformation plan over several years, incrementally developing and implementing CI/CD and DevOps processes and modernizing multiple business-critical applications. The new strategy increased enterprise infrastructure efficiency, cut costs, and accelerated innovation via Agile delivery and increased developer productivity.
