Intel came up with a breakthrough idea: using liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) to advance TV displays. The goal of the LCOS project was to produce a chip that TV manufacturers could use to build thinner-profile units at less cost.

Complex chip design and prototype—in less than one year
Intel initially commissioned another vendor to develop the LCOS prototype, including system design, algorithm, FPGA design, and embedded software. But the vendor fell behind and failed to produce the prototype. With only 11 months remaining before the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Intel turned to Integnology.
“Integnology was able to deliver the advanced LCOS prototype project in time for its planned introduction as part of CES.”
We formed an elite team that took charge of initial engineering design, testing, and validation. The team developed the prototype very quickly, and Intel proudly showcased the new display technology at CES.
